Let's ceilidh! Virtual concert brings Scotland to you

Through the magic of Youtube, Imagine Alba is bringing a bit of Scotland to your house with a Burns Night Hooley premiering January 23rd. We’ve gathered a cast of fantastic traditional musicians for an evening of song and banter celebrating Robert Burns, on the occasion of his 261st birthday.

In Scotland we usually celebrate Burns Night by coming together with friends and family for a big supper, where we read Rabbie’s poems, sing his songs, eat haggis and of course, perform many, many toasts with drams of fine single malt whisky into the wee hours. But since that can't happen this year, we're going virtual.

We invite you to find your Scottish soul and join us for a lineup of players from Argyll to America, along with images, video and history from bonnie Scotland. In the spirit of our national bard, we'll be sharing tunes and songs from the pen and the home country of Burns.
